“Island Hopping” 48 x 60 in Acrylic on Canvas is one of my favorite paintings from 2022!
Like many of my paintings this painting was created intuitively. I didn't have a plan or idea in mind. Once I completed the painting it reminded me of two bodies of land that were full of life with water in between. I began to imagine being on vacation and going from one island to the next enjoying life and having fun with family and friends!
It serves as a reminder of both the beauty and joy of our relationships with each other and of nature. Hang this piece of artwork to celebrate life and all its possibilities.
“Island Hopping” is back in the studio after being on exhibit at the University of Michigan Hospital in the main lobby!
